Dates for the City of Dallas June 13th Runoff Election
Early Voting in person: June 1st thru June 9th. For complete information about EARLY VOTING LOCATIONS & TIMES, Click here. Remember that you may vote at any early voting location listed for your community.
Election Day: Saturday, June 13th - Polls are open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m
Remember: If you vote on election day, you must vote in the polling place designated for your precinct.
Find your polling place: Click here to go to the Dallas County Elections website. There, fill in your name and birthdate, and click on "Submit". The next screen will show your precinct number and your polling place (if you choose to vote on Election Day) for your precinct.
At the above site, before election day, you can also find a SAMPLE BALLOT that is exactly like the one you will receive for your precinct.
Dates for the May 9, 2009 Local Joint Election
Last day to register to vote in the May Joint Election is Thursday, Apr. 9, 2009.
Any application for Ballot by Mail must be received by the Dallas County Elections Dept. no earlier than Tuesday, Mar. 10, 2009 and no later than Wednesday, May 6, 2009 (must be received, not merely postmarked). For more details on ballots by mail, consult the Texas Secretary of State website.

Sample ballot: Before election day, a sample ballot can be found on the Dallas County Elections website. When there, click on Election Day Information, then on What's on my ballot?... Then follow directions to find a sample ballot that contains only the races that will appear on your precinct's ballot.
