Information about 2008 Elections

Dates for the March 4, 2008 Democratic and Republican Primaries

Last day to register to vote in the Primary Election is Feb. 4, 2008

Any application for Ballot by Mail must be received by the Dallas County Elections Dept. by Tuesday, February 26, 2008.

Early Voting in person: Feb. 19 thru Feb 29. For complete information about EARLY VOTING LOCATIONS & TIMES, Click here. Remember that you may vote at any early voting location listed.

Sample ballot: A sample ballot can be found on the Dallas County Elections website. See "Find your polling place" below to find a sample ballot that contains only the races that will appear on your precinct's ballot.

Election Day: March 4 - Polls are open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m

Remember: If you vote on election day, you must vote in the polling place designated for your precinct.

Find your polling place: Click here to go to the Dallas County Elections website. There, fill in your name and click on "Show Voter Registration Information". The next screen will show your precinct number and your polling place (if you choose to vote on Election Day) for your precinct.

Here, also, you can find a Democratic and a Republican SAMPLE BALLOT that is exactly like the one you will receive for your precinct.
