Dates for the November 2nd, 2010 General Election

First Day to Apply for Ballot by Mail:
Friday, September 3, 2010

Last Day to Register to Vote:
Monday, October 4, 2010 (moves to next business day, Monday)

First Day of Early Voting:
Monday, October 18, 2010 (moves to next business day, Monday)
Remember that you may vote at any early voting location.

Last Day to Apply for Ballot by Mail (Received, not Postmarked):
Tuesday, October 26, 2010 (must be received, not merely postmarked)

Last Day of Early Voting:
Friday, October 29, 2010

Election Day:
Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010 - Polls are open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m
Remember: If you vote on election day, you must vote in the polling place designated for your precinct.

Dates for the May 8th, 2010 Joint Election

The Joint Election, combining independents and candidates chosen from all parties, will be held on May 8th, 2010.

Early Voting starts April 26th.

Last day to register to vote in the Joint Election is Thursday, April 8, 2010

Last day to receive application for ballot by mail is Friday, April 30, 2010

Dates for the April 13, 2010 Primary Runoffs

The Democratic and Republican Runoffs will be held on April 13, 2010.

Early Voting starts April 5th.

Dates for the March 2, 2010 Primary Elections

Early Voting in person: Feb. 16th thru Feb. 22nd. For complete information about EARLY VOTING LOCATIONS & TIMES, Click here. Remember that you may vote at any early voting location listed.

Election Day: Tuesday, March 2nd- Polls are open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m

Remember: If you vote on election day, you must vote in one of the polling places designated for your precinct.

Find your polling place: Click here to go to the Dallas County Elections website. There, fill in your name and birthdate, and click on "Submit". The next screen will show your precinct number and the polling places (both Democratic and Republican) for your precinct.

Here, you will also find a SAMPLE BALLOT that is exactly like the one you will receive for your precinct.
