Making Democracy Work

We advocate

LWVDallas provides education about issues and advocates positions in accord with League of Women Voters policies.

Our League of Women Voters Program Positions are established by extensive study and, then, consensus agreement at each level of the League to which the Position applies.

National positions are detailed on the national website in the publication Impact on Issues.

State positions are detailed on the state website in the publication Program Perspectives.

Our local LWVDallas Handbook and Directory includes a summary of national and state positions, as well as our Local Positions.
