Positions established by the League

We support and advocate for positions established by the League.

Established Positions

Our League of Women Voters Program Positions are established by extensive study and, then, consensus agreement at each level of the League to which the Position applies.

National positions are detailed on the national website in the publication Impact on Issues.

State positions are detailed on the state website in the publication Program Perspectives.

Our local LWVDallas Handbook and Directory includes a summary of national and state positions, as well as our Local Positions, which we present here on our website. Each position is listed under one of these three classifications:
