The topic of discussion will be:  Facts and Impact of Misinformation 

Our speakers will be Elizabeth Casa de Calvo, M.A. and Dr. Jared Schroeder  Ph.D

 Elizabeth Casa de Calvo, M.A.

 

Lecturer of Psychology at the University of North Texas at Dallas.  I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of Arts degree in psychology from Texas Tech University. I have also completed all graduate coursework for the Texas Tech University Experimental/Social Psychology Ph.D. program except for the dissertation.   

Dr. Jared Schroeder, Ph.D.


Dr. Jared Schroeder is an associate professor at SMU who specializes in First Amendment theory, examining how we should understand freedom of expression in an era defined by difficult questions about artificial  intelligence, the flow of information, and questions concerning platform regulation.
